Good Things Come in Honoring...

I so believe in Miracles and also believe
they come in all shapes and sizes...

They come from Creator, Soul Families,
Friends here on Mother Earth.  They
come from the Animals and Plants that
we inhabit the Earth Mother with.  So
many diverse giftings...and a miracle is
just that.  A blessed gift from the Universe.

We meet people out of the blue (or do we?)
and/or stumble upon a person, place or
thing which moves us inward, forward,
outward, and onward...it moves us to move
ourselves in ways we didn't know would
happen to us, much less ponder on.

That is how I came to meet Terri St. Cloud.
One of my first blog posts here was about
Terri and how she moved my life and that
of my family by what she does for a living.
But it certainly is much more than that.
What she does is write bone sighs as she
so appropriately calls them, and we all
have bone sighs don't we?  Those moments
in time when the inner workings of our
spirit and soul let out a long, deep sigh and
we feel it all the way deep in our bones?

Terri wrote one that I stumbled on over a
year and a half ago, that rocked me to my
very core.  When FireKeeper was going
through his intense internal struggle,
foisted upon him by his sperm donor, I
shared with him the 'bone sigh' that Terri
had written and very pleadingly, and yes,
emotionally repeated her 'sigh' of....
"Don't let them take away who you are."
Meaning his Dad and his Dad's family,
who were always abusing him in the
worst ways.  It was at that time that I
wrote to Terri to let her know how this
one solitary 'sigh' was going to move
healing into our world.  It was Christmas
and he was in a children's psyche ward
an hour away from us and here we were
with an unreliable vehicle, very little
money, and Christmas staring us in the
face and our FireKeeper was broken and
not in our homes...meaning his Momma
or me.  It broke me too.  I could not
figure out how we were going to live
through this but live through it we did
and I swear to you, that if it were not
for stumbling upon this one piece of art,
this 'bone sigh' written by Terri I really
would have lost it.  Thus, the Miracle!

I really did not expect an answer to the
letter I had written Terri but she soooo
answered me immediately.  Even more
than that she offered up immediate help.
She knows the struggles of life, having
lived through tough times herself and
thus through the expression of her
creativity, she bore  'bone sighs.'
'Bone sighs' help so many of us who
face a struggle of one kind or another.
They move us internally to trust that
the Holiness of Life, Creator, Universe,
is always in play and speaking through
others.  I sooo believe that!  Good
things come in honoring the dark places,
the chaos, the struggles each of us face
each and everyday...how can we walk
through fire without burning away that
which we no longer need and come out
of it like the diamond we truly are?
That is the Holy part...

So in the past days Terri came to read
my last blog post about FireKeeper and
has honored his struggle and ultimate
walking through the fire to becoming
a young man who will honor himself.
And I think in the process of all this
he will honor others along the journey
too.  In fact I know it...sometimes you
just have that knowing inside of you
and this is one of those times.

wrote me the day after she put the

owner who gets the newsletter Terri sends
out each month wrote this to her...
