OH CRAP!!!!

Subject: Oh crap (literally): USDA to privatize poultry inspection?

I mean are these guys for real?   Our food chain is in serious trouble
now and they want to privatize this?  Read on my friends...and if you
feel so inclined do sign the Petition...I thank you in advance!!!

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) currently inspects all chicken and turkey carcasses for things like bruises, bile and feces before they are sent to further processing. However, the UDSA is now considering a pilot program that would eliminate that inspection and allow private poultry processing plants to do whatever they want.

The USDA is holding a public commenting period on this proposed change right now. Please sign the petition opposing the privatization of poultry inspection before the public commenting period ends.

That's why I signed a petition to United State Department of Agriculture (USDA), which says:

"Please do not start a pilot program allowing poultry plants to conduct their own inspections of the bird carcasses used in food processing. This so called "modernization" merely allows private companies to make millions off of selling Americans food containing bile and feces. Going forward with this program would be an abandonment of the USDA's duty to the public."

The Deeper Meaning of the Christ Story...

In my email inbox just now I received this message...

Dear Akasa,

Around the world, 2 billion Christians are marking the three-day saga of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, perhaps the most influential story in history. Even for non-Christians, there is a wealth of wisdom to be gleaned from it.

Yesterday, I had the impulse to invite Barbara Marx Hubbard, who was raised a secular Jew, to share her potent evolutionary insights into the deeper meaning of the Christ story as a guiding pattern for all of us, especially how it relates to the collective Birth we are working to support.

Her insights were pure poetry, illuminated by a radiant heart. And I wanted to share them with you as a gift on this day of remembering Jesus' passage through death.

Here's your link to listen to this 21-minute piece of inspiration in which Barbara also shares some of her most important spiritual experiences:

Seen through Barbara's eyes, Jesus' life is the story of an evolutionary pioneer, lighting the path for others who will come - a forerunner of a future humanity. Each of us has our own metamorphosis to go through that will, in turn, leads to our collective resurrection in a new divine template.

Our environmental and social crises can be seen as part of the release/crucifixion of the old that opens the way into the metamorphosis into a body of light - a symbol for a reborn world.

I hope you find value and beauty in her luminous words. And if you find them valuable, you are welcome to share with others as well. Here is the link again: http://theacetraining.com/TheDeeperMeaningOfTheChristStory

As you celebrate Easter/Ostara, or any other religious tradition,
on this Holiday...I hope this Deeper Awakening Story will touch
your heart and spirit...

May Your Weekend be Filled with Radiant Christ Light.
As Mother Earth Awakens from Her slumber, let us
all look forward to a brighter future and an even
more Brilliant New Earth...
