We would suggest that when the planned events of
'our' Life are temporarily suspended or brought to a
standstill, in the Silence of Being and the ceasing of
'expected' activity there may arise a Rose (a happening
of great value, a gift of beauty), to be realized or
perceived.
May you see Beauty in the Silence of Your Being,
wherever You are today...
I think that's where I am now - in the Silence of my Being - I feel dormant as if waiting for something bigger to happen and I'm enjoying the quiet tremendously for I know it won't last!
Roses are very hardy. They can endure the extreme heat and extreme cold - I love Bette Midler's song "The Rose" - also in church, when I was growing up, Christ's birth is often compared to as the rose that burst out in the middle of the cold winter...the rose is a beautiful symbolism for defiant determination!

What a beautiful reminder!
So filled with patience, observing, and listening. Loved the breathing and the crunch of the footsteps.
Thank you, Akasa, for this seasonally-appropriate gem.
