Today is World Water Day....
Wherever you may be on this vast planet, I hope and pray you will carve out some time to sit in earnest reflection of the state of our waters...just as our Ancestor here is doing.
There are gatherings world wide today...perhaps you can find one to attend.
Or you can do like me and go to your local waterway and send healing prayers into the water, leave an offering, send up smoke. If it is raining, catch some rain and then pray over it. Bless it and say Thank You...I AM Sorry...sorry for my part in pollution of you, for my part in the collective consciousness for not being more aware of you...however your heart leads you to pray, just hold the intention of our waters becoming fresh and pure once more. You could also be active in cleaning up the waters where you live...pick up the trash on the Earth Mother next to streams, creeks, rivers, lakes...or get into a boat and venture out with a net, or if you live in a warm climate get into the water and clean up. The list is endless if you stop and think about it. As well, be an advocate of water where you live...sign petitions against big corporations dumping chemicals, etc...start a protest...write letters to your congressmen/women. It all begins with us individually, and engage your family please...we need to do this for the next seven generations coming up. I know I want my children and grandchildren to have access to clean drinking water...I know you do too. And Please, Please, Please, watch what you pour down your kitchen sinks at home...we can and should do better, as well as reducing our water footprints. Now I'll get on with it here...the day is burning! I won't be visiting blogs today my Sister/Brother Friends...I'm gonna be busy! :)
