During this Third Moon Cycle I am reminded of
Jamie Sams' entry for The 13 Original Clan Mothers.

Now is the time for 'Weighs The Truth' and how
appropriate for this day!

Weighs The Truth

The Protectress of the meek
Weighs the truth for all to see,
Divine Law, seeking balance,
Setting the spirit free.

And here, amid the chaos
Of earthly trials she stands,
Ready to issue justice,
Compassion in her hands.

She answers when deception
Shows the destructive face
Of human greed and hatred,
Dividing every creed and race.

Keeper of Great Mystery's laws,
Whose guiding ways we seek,
May we accept the oneness of
The truths we hear you speak.

Grandmother Weighs The Truth...

Teach me this day the Peace that
passes all understanding, bringing
me into balance by seeing all
situations with clarity, and standing
as a Keeper of Equality and Guardian
of Justice.

As Spring brings us the Awakening of
what has been slumbering, of what
has been in Retreat and Renewal,
show me through Bear Medicine the
color of brown, the rich soil of Mother
Earth and Your connection to Divine
Law.  Show me Great Grandmother
my truths, to take the brown beam
of inconsistency, untruths in my knowing
and unknowing, out of my own eyes and
heart, so that I may make ready to receive
and accept, The Truth that lives only inside
of me.  Help me to accept my strengths as
well as my weaknesses, so that I may move
forward into another Springtime in my life
and Bring the Beauty of that springing
forth back to You Beloved One!

To this day then I Thank You for the
teachings of Jamie Sams, for the teachings
of All through Sisterhood, Mother, and Grandmother,
so that I may rest internally, externally, and
eternally within your Great and Ancient Knowledge.
