Eyes of God...

I read or heard someone say
once, that when you look
into the eyes of a child you
see the face of God.

You see the face of God.

When I look into my
grandchildren's eyes, I see
the face of God...

Wow!  Isn't that incredible?
And pure?  And holy?

We stand in the presence of
grace then when we are with
children.  God is grace.
I've felt it, breathed it,
had it wash over me...for all
the times I held those little
hands that trust...for those
times in sickness when I
held them close to me to
soothe, or wipe the tear. 
For the times they fell and
hurt themselves...
I was looking into the face
of God, when I saw them
in pain, sorrow, and yes
joy too...

Wow...that just amazes me!

My dearest Grandson...even
when you were having the
dark night of your soul, I was
looking into the face of God.
And you are so full of grace.
