Today is World Water Day...and I'd like
to remind you all that there are many
blessings and ceremonies going on
world wide.
This years focus is on Water for Cities...

The photo taken above was during a
Healing/Blessing that we did on our
city's Rock River...my grandson and I
were there to sit in the quiet hours of
the early morning and then do our part
to Bless the Waters. What was so
beautiful about it was that we were
being very respectful and quiet, feeling
the energies that were surrounding us
as we set about our work. I am so
grateful that we are able to do this and
this year we are expanding more bodies
of water in our Healing/Blessing times.
As we were saying our prayers and giving
offering to the Mighty Rock the ducks came
out of the grasses growing alongside the
water's edge and literally stopped in front
of us to partake in the blessing and healing.
Firekeeper and I just looked at each other
and smiled. How Sacred!
My Grandson is such a love to do this
with me...he loves what we do and
honors and respects the teachings I
share with him...this year now we can
bring along my Grandaughter too...I
now think she can hold still long enough
to do the work and be reverent about it.
I pray at some point today you can take
a few moments and Thank the Water that
keeps your body alive and well. Without
it we would be nothing. Water is feminine
in element...we are carried in water for
nine months in our Mothers Womb, and
that is always something that really speaks
to my spirit...It is our Lifeblood.
I wish for you a day filled with Beautiful
Thoughts and Prayers for this much beloved
resource as well as Blessing...it has so been
abused by us. What will you be doing in this
regard today?
