follow... http://www.plasticoceans.net/  I abhor plastic in
my daily life and am trying very hard to reduce what is in my
home. I do reuse plastic bags at the store instead of them
packing my groceries in new ones...I just take old ones along,
along with my green bags...if they have holes in them I just
double up. I don't use plastic tableware, and try to buy items
in glass, aluminum, etc....and it is hard I know, as we have so
been inundated with plastic in almost every item we see on
the grocers shelf, pharmacy shelf...you name it and you can
find it....I soooooo wish we could go back to using glass bottles
for everything....Remember saving the bottles of whatever
soda you drank as a kid, or the milk jugs we used, and taking it
back to the store for the deposit money? That was a good thing,
and I'm wondering how many states still do that? So do yourself
a favor and just go and check out this site...they have a ton of
information we all need to be aware of (and most of us are) but
it never hurts to keep things in the front of our minds.
I hope each of you have been having a good week...it is New Moon
and I am and have been sitting in the stillness, connecting with self,
touching in on what is most important to me and the things I'd like
to see change. Here's wishing you all connect with Grandmother
Moon tonight...She is waiting for all of us...that Lovely Old One
who is always beckoning to us....
