Yesterday late afternoon there came
a knock upon my door...when I answered
it the Postman was standing there with
a little package for me. Lo and Behold it
was from Janie over at Mother Moon's blog!
Inside was an Earthly Delight! A much
treasured jar of Janie's Peach Jam she just
put up and for her first year blog anniversary
she held a give-a-way and guess what? I
won honorable mention along with a few
others! Along with the Peach Jam was a
beautiful card and another jar of some
spun sugar candy...which smells like almond
to me, however I am not sure? Whatever
it is, it is delish and I want the recipe! :)
If you've never been to her blog do go over
and meet her...she is a phenominal woman
who writes from her heartsong and has
touched me in many ways since meeting her.
She is warm, inviting, compassionate, a
woman of substance, and I am so fortunate
to have connected with her! I love reading
about her daily life, about her grandchildren,
about her spirituality and a whole host of
other things. She is one of those women
who can draw the best out of you. She is
very cherished by me. So Janie...a million
Thank You's my Sister/Friend...for all you do!
You are a fine example of Sisterhood and
Womanhood and I gladly walk this path
