Change as if you were a Cloud «





I wanted to share this blog with you today....
A Blog called Thirteen Threads from the Wild Heart.

Changes are inevitable...it has happened in
my own family this week.  This was very
uplifting for me to read and helped in that
I am able to bring some of it home to my
heart's song....I need it today.

Embracing Change....

Enjoying the Sunshine and the Clouds

This morning when I awoke I was
delighted to see the sun shining
once again...and upon going to
the door and opening it I was met
with the beautiful sun shining
through the clouds...

The energy of the Full Moon, the
beginnings of the New Month of
March have shifted something
inside of me that is welcoming
after a long winter here in my
neck of the woods.  While I
know that March can be a fickle
month in terms of weather, I
at least am able to see the sun
shining through the clouds on
occasion rather that days upon
days of cloud cover and that
always brings a sense of renewal
deep within.

I am feeling as airy as a fairy...
I did yesterday too, so I packed
up my car as I will today, with
what I need for the day and go
off to do my errands, all the while
enjoying the sunshine shining
in and around the clouds...
the clouds will not have precedence
today.  Perhaps the winds of March
will keep blowing the clouds along
on a lazy pattern or perhaps they
won't but whatever the case may
be I shall enjoy the sunshine while
I am able...

The resident cardinal is not singing
this morning...perhaps he goes to
find a new nesting place for his
mate as Spring is fast upon us
officially.  As I was thinking about
the cardinal the past few days and
the bright red color they wear so
proudly, it brought me to thoughts
of how many things I associate with
the color of red...

The first being the Original Womb
of the Ancient Mother...that
wondrous Goddess who sprang
forth all life...
The second being passion and
creativity...a brightening up
of many things and causing a
spark inside of us...we are
all drawn to this color.
Third I think of fire...that
element which can draw us
into our primal selves as we
stare at the flame of it...we
are drawn to it much like the
moth who is drawn to the light
of the moon and always seeking
it...I have long been a lover of
sitting by a fire and getting lost
in the flames, seeing pictures
being created by the fire
creatures who live within it.

So today...I am going to enjoy
the sunshine and the clouds...
enjoy the warm ball of red
that can heat us up...and I am
going to enjoy the clouds as well.
The clouds which bring us the
rainfalls we need for spring growth,
for cover from the intensity of the
sun...and behold the wonder of
them both.  Perhaps it is a perfect
metaphor for life...
