What energy and experiences can we expect in July 2010?
This month has a lot of forward momentum. This month also has a time warp element, which is that it is like double or triple the amount of time is packed into the month. A lot of you are going to feel like more is happening than you can keep track of. This time warp operates in an interesting way. The best way we can describe it is if you imagine yourself on a very fast moving train. As you first begin to pick up speed and you watch outside the window, you see things going by faster and faster and it feels like you are moving really fast. Once you reach a certain speed, everything seems to go by in a blur and there is kind of a strange sensation that can occur at that point when you feel like things slow down. You will feel like things get quieter when you actually reach such a high speed, almost as if you are not moving. That is the way July is likely to feel.
Many of you will feel at times, that there is so much happening in just a moment or just an hour, it will feel like a whole day goes by. At other times of the month, you are going to feel like you are moving through molasses. Like everything is so slow and peaceful that you will wonder if you are missing something. How you experience this time warp will depend on you and your path and what you are working on in your personal life right now. Overall, every single one of you will experience the time warp in one way or another. For most of you it will be both ways at different times in the month. This month, be aware of that dynamic and do your best to go with the flow and work with it.
Let the really rich, intense kind of packed times be what they are and just take them one step at a time. During those times when you are moving so fast you cannot even tell that you are moving, let yourself rest your mind. You are not missing anything or if you are missing something that is important, it will come to your attention later on. Let yourself have these moments of rest when you feel a sense of calm amidst all of that momentum.
This month seems to have a lot of potential for social change. This month seems to have potential for a lot of public events that draw the attention of the world. These are the kinds of things that show up in the news. Be aware of that potential and many of you will feel that potential all month. Like you are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
How can we best work with the energy this month?
Relieve yourself from being task-oriented. In any given situation, your attention focuses on one particular aspect of the situation in order to keep you oriented to what is happening. Some people are naturally aligned to be task-oriented. They get things done, they are aware of what is happening in the material world. Some people are people-oriented. Whatever is happening, they tend to be aware of what people are saying, how people are feeling. This month, do not get distracted by the tasks at hand. Do not get too distracted or too focused on the tasks that need to be accomplished in your life this month. Keep your awareness on the bigger picture. Keep your awareness on your relationships and how they are developing in those moments." It will matter less this month, whether a certain task is done and it will matter more how people feel about doing it and how well you connect with each other.
There is a tendency because of the discomfort in that forward momentum and just all of the extra energy and information this month; there will be a tendency for many of you to go into survival mode. Where you do not pay too much attention to the people around you. Ultimately the way to benefit from this month is to stay grounded in your social, loving relationships. To keep yourself aware of other people and what they might need or what they might be experiencing. You are going to find that because most people are losing track of that, most people are slipping into being task oriented this month. You are going to find that if you are the only person paying attention to the relationships, it is actually going to give you a lot of power -- not power over people, but power to shift the energy of the situation. To bring a certain lightness or optimism or to help answer people's deeper needs when they are not really taking care of themselves. If you can be there and do that, you have the power to make the situation go a lot more smoothly for everyone, including for you.
Where if you get pulled into task oriented and you lose track of that social sphere, you will find that situations will not go as well and when they are not going well, it will be difficult to solve them or resolve the situation. The key this month is to stay aware of your social relationships, stay aware of the social dynamics around you and be willing to make adjustments in order to smooth those situations in the social realm. You will find that all the tasks at hand eventually get done anyway. What people will walk away with is a further development or devolvement of their relationships. That is a key for working with the energy and the experience of the month.
The other thing to know is that because things are moving so fast, it will not be useful to try to stay focused on a single goal. That being said, it is likely that all of you are going to get a lot done this month. It might be the kind of process that feels haphazard or chaotic as you go, but then at the end of the day, you are going to look back and realize that you actually got a lot accomplished. Be flexible with your to-do lists, be flexible with your goals, but keep finding something to be engaged with. It is not a good time to disengage. It is a good time to stay awake, engaged and active in your lives, but know that it will be nonlinear.
Are there any important days for us to be aware of this month?
July 7 is like a glittering star. It packs a punch and it will be a day when you may feel jolted awake -- when you are forced to face things you were not facing before or you are finally able to see the solution to a puzzle in your life. It is a day for “aha moments.” You may find metaphorical light bulbs going off in your head. Take some time on this day to stop and look around at the bigger picture of your life and consider new possibilities. If you will just take the little bit of effort to pay attention, the Universe will provide signs all around you to give you the information that you need.
July 13 and 14 are days that may be difficult for many of you. It looks like a turning point and it is like this feeling of suddenly walking through mud. Many of you are going to feel like you have been humming along and suddenly things get really slow. That can be frustrating. You may see a lot of people losing their patience on these two days and it is important that as many of you as possible bring a sense of loving, kind, compassionate energy into those two days because there will be so much frustration. Those two days get so muggy and sluggish that people will become volatile because they will be frustrated. Just bring a cooling, peaceful energy into your life during those days and you will be able to help everyone else out a lot.
July 17 - 21 are especially productive days. It is a good time for you to plan productive activities.
Is there anything else the Keepers want to tell us about this month?
Yes. There seems to be something about animals this month that is important for many of you. The animal world is communicating with the human world in all kinds of ways right now. The animal world is very much involved in all of your Enlightenment process and they are giving you messages both by representing themselves as metaphors, but also there are personal animals appearing to you on an individual level to get your attention.
It is important this month, especially if you feel connected with animals, it is important to pay attention to what animals come into your vision. They might come physically like physically in your presence. They might appear on the television or they might appear in your dreams.
Research the totem meaning of any animals that appear to you. Consider in your heart what that animal represents to you. Look for messages and meanings in the animals around you because the animal kingdom has kind of stepped it up a notch. They have all together, increased their contract with humanity, made it more potent and they're working more or showing themselves more to you in an effort to help you wake up to yourselves. Pay attention to animals this month. Do not ignore them or disregard them -- even the insects that come into your house or crawl across your desk. They have a message for you, so pay attention.

What is Barack Obama's karmic role in leading the U.S. at this time?
Barack Obama's karmic contract is to be a leader for the world, not just a leader for the U.S. His legal contract is to lead the U.S, but his karmic contract is to be a leader for the world. His karmic contract is to be a catalyst for enlightening change in the world. A catalyst is a substance or an object that facilitates change. It does not make the change occur – instead, it initiates and enhances a process and that is precisely what his role is to be. In fact, his contract to be a catalyst for a certain process has already been accomplished. His initial contract was fulfilled during and just after his election campaign. The changes he was meant to facilitate occurred in the hearts and minds of people across the world.
With his initial karmic contract fulfilled, he is now working to support the changes that are only possible if they are created and upheld by the citizens of the world. A catalyst is a substance that causes or accelerates a chemical reaction, or a person that inspires an event or change to take place. A catalyst can signal a process to begin and it can enhance or speed up a process that is already underway. Barack Obama is doing both. He helped initiate a process and he is also helping to enhance or make more efficient a process that is already under way. The process is human empowerment, which is both a result of and the driving force for healing of the human family.
Barack Obama is not the only catalyst and he is not the only leader involved in this work. There are many other world leaders, both official and non-official, who do this work. The catalyst that he provides is unique. This role can be seen most clearly in what was fulfilled during his election campaign, where most of his karmic contract was fulfilled. The speeches that he gave and the particular way that he ran his campaign catalyzed a process inside millions of people across the world. The messages and actions that took place during his campaign initiated and activated a process within millions of individuals, and a process across many societies, by which human beings are becoming empowered enough to dismantle oppressive forces and create more light and love, effectually making the world a better place. (As you might imagine, this is the dramatically short version.)
In a sense, Barack Obama’s karmic contract was to be a catalyst for hope. Hope only works in the individuals who choose to carry it or act on it. The effects of his catalytic process were most outwardly apparent in the ways that people were activated to vote or to make changes in their communities. But the greatest actual effects occurred within people’s minds and hearts. The massive shift toward hope and empowerment cannot be measured but rest assured, the world is a more peaceful place and more people have moved forward in enlightenment based on the role he has played. Now, the work and the way forward are yours to determine.
Once Barack Obama entered the presidency, his role as a catalyst has been somewhat diminished because people have a tendency to cease their own empowerment when they turn to a powerful leader. This occurs because people, through the dynamics of oppression, have learned to turn their own authority over to their leaders. People in nearly every culture on the planet have learned to wait for their leaders to take decisive action, and in waiting each individual forfeits their own power to affect change.
Citizens in the U.S. have exhibited a tendency to imagine that once Barack Obama was in an official leadership position that he would take care of things. When you wait for your leaders to instruct you, or you sit back and blame others for their missteps, you lose track of your own power, and it becomes easy to lose faith in your own ability to create positive change in the world around you.
Remember that all of you have been oppressed in one way or another. It is not your fault that you have been oppressed, but it is your responsibility to actively choose to reassign your personal authority to yourself, to re-determine and revitalize yourselves to make positive changes in the world around you. This reclaiming of your personal power, and it’s collective potential, ultimately is the process that Barack Obama was meant to catalyze. His calling is to inspire all the citizens in the world into action. He will not make the world a better place through his actions; instead, he inspires all of you to make the world a better place.
As long as each of you is taking responsibility and doing what you can to improve the world within your sphere of influence, then you are using him positively as a catalyst. If people do not use his leadership role to further inspire and empower themselves into action, then the usefulness of his role will expire. It will no longer be useful for him to be in the role of a world leader officially if the role of catalyst is not being fulfilled. It is vitally important that all of you continue to remember that he is not here to make change, he is here to inspire you to make change. That is the role he came here to perform, that is the karmic contract that he signed up for. Most of this has been accomplished on his end of the contract. Of course as a president he has legal and societal contracts to fulfill, but outcome of his karmic contract now depends upon you. (January 2010)
Will the Keepers comment on the New World Order and what it means to personal freedoms?
The term 'New World Order' was coined in the service of a political agenda. Its evolution, its use, and all of the energy people carry about it is infused with that political agenda. The term was coined in order to cultivate fear. For the most part, the New World Order as it was initially foreseen has already occurred. The word for it from here with hindsight, as you have seen it occur, is globalization. Globalization has already occurred and the new world order is emerging. The term as it was originally coined is no longer an accurate representation of what globalization has come to be.
Instead, what is emerging is a new set of values, ethics, practices, communication styles and power dynamics based on the inevitable fact of globalization. You are seeing this now. So many of the diplomatic engagements occurring between countries are occurring in ways that have never occurred before. Take for example World War I or World War II, it was possible and even natural that two sides of an argument could each be intriguing enough that if a group of countries would take one side or the other so that you would have a world war that involved one group against another group. What you will find now is more consensus in regard to values, ethics, and practices amongst countries so that instead of having groups of countries truly divided, instead of having those kind of ally relationships, what you will have is a kind of general consensus as modeled by the new united nations and what you might call rogue countries or countries, governments or groups who deviate from the ethics, values and the practices that have emerged as part of globalization. A great example of this is North Korea. What you are finding now is that different countries are deciding whether to join the consensus or whether to operate in a rogue fashion. The new world order, all those things you were taught to fear in regard to losing your personal freedoms are not really accurate any more. That sense that there will be guiding principles and even governments that oversee the entire world is accurate. That has been in place for a long time. The United Nations was an early version of that. It will continue to grow.
What the idea of the new world order and the fear it engendered did not take into account is that through globalization, all the individual people would be moving around and becoming connected to one another. Millions of individuals migrating from one country to another, billions of individuals coming to recognize the value of diversity, the importance of personal freedom, the value of every human life. As so many of you have adopted those values and let yourselves open up to people who are different from you, you have developed more empathy and understanding for one another and for the connections between you. It becomes impossible for your personal freedoms to be as severely limited as they would have been in the past. While it is not perfect, for those of you who are concerned about the new world order, you might consider laying that chapter to rest and asking yourself instead what do I see in globalization and what actions are there for me to take in regard to globalization. You will find more and more that there is no way you can just move to a more comfortable place.
It has become so important that you make the place where you are as comfortable as you can. Meaning that it is so important that you fight for the rights for those around you that are oppressed rather than trying to corner yourselves in a so-called safe place with those who are similar to you. It is important that you connect with those who are different and fight just as hard for their personal freedoms as you would for your own. As you do that, the new world order that will continue to emerge will be based on a system of values and ethics that supports personal freedom in a way that is even greater than what was initially idealized by the founders of the United States. It all depends on you as individuals. No government at this point is as powerful as you as individuals when you collect yourselves. This is only beginning to be understood, so watch for the story to unfold. (July 2009)
